Wholesale Stone Supplier Central Texas Shops Buy From

KJM Stones is a wholesale stone supplier Central Texas fabricators, builders and designers can reach in under an hour. Our yard sits on FM 2001 in Buda, roughly the midpoint of the I-35 corridor. Quartzite, granite, marble, dolomite and engineered quartz come to us straight from quarries in Brazil, India and Vietnam through Houston, which means the slab you walk in our yard has not passed through three distributors on its way to you.

We sell material only. We do not fabricate, so we never compete with the shops we supply.

Everything in the yard is premium material, natural stone and engineered quartz alike. We do not carry a second tier.

Cities we serve along I-35

• Austin — high-end remodel work, 15 minutes north
• Kyle — production builders and spec homes, fifteen minutes south
• San Antonio — production and builder shops buying on cost per square foot
• San Marcos — subdivisions, rental turnovers and Hill Country customs
• Dripping Springs — Hill Country estate customs, architect and designer led
• New Braunfels — custom home builders and clients who pick their own slab
• Georgetown — north corridor production builders and the remodel market

What a wholesale stone supplier Central Texas trusts should do

• Own the import, so there is no distributor layer between the quarry and your shop
• Tag and photograph every slab, so nobody buys a color name sight unseen
• Quote per slab with the material, thickness and bundle named
• Hold a specific piece with a deposit while a client decides
• Sell material only, and stay out of fabrication

Delivery

Delivery is available throughout the I-35 corridor, from Georgetown down to San Antonio. Rates depend on the load and the distance, so ask us for a delivery quote along with your material pricing. We will consolidate several slabs onto one truck where the schedule allows, which keeps freight off the job cost.

How we buy

We buy full containers at the source rather than picking over what a distributor did not sell. Blocks are inspected before they ship, graded against the technical standards published by the Natural Stone Institute, and photographed slab by slab so you know exactly what is arriving. The U.S. Geological Survey publishes useful background on how dimension stone is quarried and classified if you want the wider picture.
