1. Who We Are

KJM Stones LLC (“KJM Stones,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a natural stone importer and wholesale distributor located at 5229 FM 2001, Buda, Texas 78610. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect through kjmstones.com and in the course of our business, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to visitors to our website, customers, and trade partners.

2. Personal Data We Collect and Why

Contact and inquiry data. When you complete a form on our website — the contact form, a flooring estimate request, a trade program application, or a newsletter signup — we collect the information you enter. Depending on the form, that may include your first and last name, email address, phone number, company name, your role in the trade, ZIP code, project details such as square footage or project type, and the message you write. We use this to respond to you, prepare quotes and estimates, and manage trade accounts.

Order and transaction data. If you place an order, we collect billing and shipping addresses, order and delivery details, and records of invoices and payments. We use this to fulfill and deliver your order and to meet our accounting, tax, and recordkeeping obligations.

Marketing data. If you subscribe, we collect your email address to send product updates, new arrivals, and offers. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.

Technical data. Our web host and consent tool automatically log limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages you view. We use this to keep the site secure, working, and reasonably fast.

Sensitive data. We do not ask for, and do not knowingly collect, sensitive personal data — including racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, physical or mental health diagnoses, sexual orientation, citizenship or immigration status, genetic or biometric data, precise geolocation, or personal data of a known child.

3. We Do Not Sell Your Personal Data

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for targeted advertising or use it for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. We do not sell sensitive personal data or biometric data. We do not share your information with advertising networks or data brokers.

4. Cookies and Website Tracking

Our website uses a small number of cookies that are necessary for the site to function and to remember your consent choices. We do not run Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or cross-site tracking tools. Our fonts are served from our own server rather than from a third party. Our Contact and Gallery pages embed a Google Map so you can find our yard; loading that map sends your IP address to Google.

You can review and change your choices at any time on our Opt-out Preferences page, or by clearing and blocking cookies in your browser settings. We also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) and Do Not Track signals sent by your browser.

5. Who We Share Information With

We share personal data only with service providers who help us run the business, and only as needed for them to do that work. The categories are:

  • Website hosting and infrastructure providers
  • Email, file storage, and productivity providers
  • Our email marketing platform, if you have subscribed
  • Invoicing and payment processors
  • Freight forwarders, carriers, and delivery partners
  • Professional advisers, such as our accountants and attorneys
  • Government agencies or law enforcement, where we are legally required to disclose

We may also transfer information as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets, in which case we will provide notice before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

6. Payment Information

We do not accept card payments through this website. Invoices and payments are handled by third-party payment processors. We never store full card numbers, CVV codes, or bank credentials.

7. Data Retention

We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purpose we collected it, or as long as required by law. Quote and inquiry records are generally kept while the opportunity is active and for a reasonable period afterward. Order, invoice, and tax records are kept for the periods required under Texas and federal law. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

8. Data Security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the volume and sensitivity of the data we handle, including encrypted connections to our website, access controls on our business accounts, and limiting staff access to what each person needs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Texas Privacy Rights

If you are a Texas resident, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act gives you the right to:

  • Confirm whether we are processing your personal data, and access that data
  • Obtain a copy of your personal data in a portable, readily usable format
  • Correct inaccuracies in your personal data
  • Delete personal data you provided to us or that we obtained about you
  • Opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising, and profiling (as noted above, we do none of these)

You will never be denied service, charged a different price, or otherwise penalized for exercising these rights.

10. How to Submit a Request

You may submit a privacy request in either of these ways:

  • By email: info@kjmstones.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line
  • By mail or phone: KJM Stones LLC, 5229 FM 2001, Buda, TX 78610, or (726) 241-4903

To protect your information, we may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, which usually means confirming details already associated with your record. If you are submitting a request on someone else’s behalf, we will ask for proof that you are authorized to do so.

We will respond without undue delay and no later than 45 days after receiving your request. If we need more time, we may extend that period by an additional 45 days and will tell you why before the first period ends.

11. Appeals

If we decline to act on your request, we will explain why. You may appeal that decision within a reasonable time by emailing info@kjmstones.com with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line, or by writing to us at the address above. We will respond in writing within 60 days and explain the reasons for our decision.

If your appeal is denied, you may submit a complaint to the Texas Attorney General at consumerprotection.texasattorneygeneral.gov.

12. Children’s Privacy

Our website and products are intended for adults and for trade professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

13. Links to Other Websites

Our site may link to third-party websites, including suppliers, trade associations, and reference resources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you visit.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
