The KJM stone trade program is built for people who buy material regularly: fabricators and countertop shops, custom home builders, interior designers, remodelers and architects specifying for clients. If you are buying one slab for your own kitchen you do not need an account, and you will still get quarry-direct pricing.
This is the part that matters most to shops. KJM Stones does not fabricate. We are not quoting against you on a kitchen, and we are not going to meet your client at the yard and then offer to cut the stone ourselves. Every account in the stone trade program is a supply relationship, nothing more complicated than that.
We buy full containers at the quarry in Brazil, India and Vietnam rather than picking over what a distributor did not sell. Blocks are inspected before they ship and graded against the technical standards published by the Natural Stone Institute, and the U.S. Geological Survey publishes useful background on how dimension stone is quarried and classified. Everything in the yard is premium material, natural stone and engineered quartz alike; we do not carry a second tier.
