How it works
Four steps, no surprises
Tell us the rooms
Call, or send the rooms and rough square footage. We will tell you what is stocked and what is on the next container.
We measure and check the slab
Flatness gets checked before anything is ordered. If the slab needs leveling, you hear it now, not on day two.
Itemized quote
Measurements, material, underlayment, prep and labor priced separately, with waste quoted for the pattern being laid.
Installed and walked
Fitted by our own crew, trims and transitions matched to the floor, then walked with you before we leave.

Supplied and installed
Flooring, supplied and installed
KJM Stones handles flooring projects of most sizes, from a single room to a whole rental turnover, and we supply the material as well as fit it. Because we import our LVP and SPC direct from the mill rather than buying through a distributor, the price you get covers the same floor a retailer would sell you with a margin stacked on top.
Materials
What we install
- Engineered and solid hardwood, in plank widths chosen for the room
- Luxury vinyl plank and SPC rigid core, imported direct and stocked in full pallets
- Laminate, where a room needs hardwood looks at a working budget
- Carpet and carpet tile for bedrooms, stairs and rental turnovers
- Porcelain and ceramic tile, including large-format
- Transitions, trims and stair nosings to match the floor rather than approximate it
Pricing
What a floor actually costs
There is no single square-foot number that covers a floor, because six things move the price. Every estimate we write breaks them out separately, so you can see which line is driving the total and change one if the budget moves.
- Material and grade
- Square footage and number of rooms
- Tearing out and hauling the old floor
- Subfloor prep and leveling
- Transitions, trims and stair work
- Pattern and realistic waste
Measurements, material, underlayment, prep and labor are itemized separately so you can see what you are paying for and swap a line if the budget moves. We quote waste realistically for the pattern being laid rather than applying a flat percentage to everything. For builders running several units, we price the phase and hold the pallets so color does not shift between the first unit and the last.
Common questions
Before you book the job
Why does the subfloor decide the job?
Most flooring complaints are not about the flooring. Rigid core plank telegraphs every dip in a slab, and tile cracks along a joint that was never isolated. We check flatness before anything is ordered, and if the slab needs leveling we say so at quote stage rather than discovering it on day two. It is the least glamorous line on an estimate and the one that decides whether the floor is still flat in five years.
How soon can you start?
Can I buy the material without the installation?
Yes. Buy the materials, book the installation, or take both together. Every range on this page is sold either way, and the price is the same whether or not our crew fits it.
Do you stock a cheaper budget line?
Everything we carry is premium material. We do not stock a second tier, and we will tell you plainly when a cheaper product would fail in the room you are putting it in.

Bundle and save
Floors and countertops together
Most of our flooring work sits alongside a countertop order, and quoting both at once usually saves a delivery. If you are replacing counters in the same project, browse the Natural Stone range and the Quartz Collection, or see what is on the ground in Live Inventory.
Bundle credit
- One quote covering both, itemized line by line
- One delivery instead of two
- Floor and counter colors chosen against each other, from real material in the yard
Credit is applied once per project to the combined quote, at the time the job is booked. Designers and builders working with us regularly should ask about the Trade Program as well.
